I make simple shapes. I'm not interested in one of a kind. What I would like to contribute to are basic shapes. Archetypal structures. I believe that humans benefit from a greater diversity of basic forms. These forms function as shells for new thought forms. Look at the associations we have with circles and squares. You can classify norms and values ​​under a square way of thinking or a circle way of thinking. But if you leave it at that, you lose democracy. I use stone as a means to simplify ways of thinking into a basic form. But unlike for example Platonic solids, all shapes that I make by hand are never 100% symmetrical. This is so important! The inherent incompleteness of a basic form.
